WHO IS BLAH?

BLAH is part of The Norfolk LGBT Project working together since 2007 to provide social & peer support groups for young gay, lesbian, bisexual people or those questioning their sexuality from 14-25yrs old.  The main purpose of our work is to provide a safe venue, away from the scene where young LGB people can have the opportunity to talk about issues affecting them, to offer an opportunity for them to access condoms, sexual health/HIV information and also the chance to meet other LGB young people. We achieve this by providing weekly youth groups.

WHAT DO WE DO AND WHERE DO WE MEET?

BLAH is open for 2hrs per week at locations in Norwich and Kings Lynn. During this time we often hold discussions on issues relevant to young LGB people such as coming out, sexuality, relationships, the gay scene, sexual health and well-being. We also provide workshops on increasing confidence, self-esteem, to raise the awareness of sexual health & HIV & much more, with a plentiful supply of coffee, tea and biscuits!

We provide a safe and confidential 1-2-1 space where you can talk about issues that are having an impact on your life.

We arrange trips to LGBT events such as London Pride as well as residential weekends.

We also provide a relaxed, chilled, fun atmosphere where young LGB people can be themselves without any judgement.
