YOUTH CHANCES

This is a ground-breaking study that has the potential to make a huge difference to the life chances of young people growing up in England today. We will be findng out how prejudice and discrimintation against LGBTQ young people might still have a negative impact on different areas of life- crime and criminal justice, education, employment, family, mental health, sexual health and housing and home...lessness. Are LGBTQ young people who experience bullying under-achieving at school, are they experiencing poorer mental health and are they at risk of becoming homeless? If LGBTQ young people fare worse in these different areas and if so, how could services be better to intervene and prevent these issues?
